The Olympics at Mt. Loafer!

Submitted by larraine.nelson on

Sochi has come to Mt. Loafer…or at least the student council is trying to bring it here!  Our student council has planned some fun activities to celebrate the Winter Olympics.  Some of the students have been going to classrooms to share some fun facts about the Olympics and some of the Utah Olympians!  We hope you are all enjoying the exciting events that are happening in Russia!  Thanks to the Student council for their hard work with each class!

100th Day in Kindergarten!

Submitted by larraine.nelson on

The 100th Day of school in Kindergarten was a very special one!  The students were very surprised to see that their donuts grew on their 100th day of school!  The students also made fun hats, badges, and glasses.  They topped it off with 100 treats for everyone.  It was a happy 100th Day for all!

A Visit From Staff Sergeant Jeff Tomlinson

Submitted by larraine.nelson on

Mrs. Spencer's 6th Grade Class had the privilege of a visit from one of their student’s dad, Staff Sergeant Jeff Tomlinson.  Tugg Tomlinson's dad has been serving in Afghanistan for the past year and just recently returned home.  He shared stories and events that happened while there.  The students enjoyed what he shared with Tugg's class. Thanks, Staff Sergeant Tomlinson!
