Parent Newsletter 9/16/19

Minimal Day:  Monday, Sept. 16th, our students will be dismissed at noon.  This is a time where our teachers will receive important instruction and give them time to work on required assignments from the District.  We so appreciate your support with this valuable day for teachers! 

Picture Day:  September 17th will be our Picture Day!  Lifetouch will be taking the pictures for our school!  Packets will be coming home soon with information! 

Pop Bottle Contest

Please enter our Monster Pop Walk competition for the fall carnival!
Bring a new full 2 liter bottle of soda pop decorated however you'd like.

They will be judged for the Most Scary, Most Halloween-y, Most Creative, and Most Beautiful.  A prize will be given to one winner from each category. 

The pop bottles will then be used as prizes for the Monster Pop Walk game at the fall carnival. 

Start bringing your decorated bottles to the office from now until Friday, Sept. 27.

Meet our 2019-2020 Mt. Loafer Student Council Members

Congratulations to our newly elected student council members who were announced and introduced to our school in our opening STAR assembly today! Student Council is an organization of students who work towards improving their school and community.Student Council is made up of five representatives from 6th grade.  The Student Council will meet once a month to coordinate school and community projects. 

In order to be a member of the Student Council, a student must:

  • be a good role model
