Mt. Loafer Elementary Parent Newsletter

We had quite the surprise this week with the cooler weather! It's a good reminder to send a jacket with your child and make sure it is labeled.

Our students are doing so well and we as a staff are so impressed with how they are doing with the changes that we are facing. Be sure to thank them for coming ready for the day and being so patient with their masks, with social distancing, washing hands, self monitoring for symptoms, and with following new procedures!

MASK EXPECTATIONS

We have face masks in the office, but the expectation is that students will bring and properly wear a mask over the nose and mouth each school day. We will be giving out disposable paper masks when students need one. We will do everything we can to keep students from calling home for masks.  Often times the students do no prefer these one time use masks, however it is what we have available via donations to our school. .

Pro Tip: lay a mask out each night when you get your things ready for school the next day.

We want everyone to practice good health hygiene including washing hands for at least 20 seconds with soap, using hand sanitizer (available in every classroom and the office), and wearing a mask. Also, wash your mask daily and be safe.

NEBO DISTRICT MINIMAL DAY

On Monday, September 21st, all Nebo District Schools will dismiss early for afternoon Teacher Training.

  • Mt. Loafer Elementary will dismiss at 12:00pm.
