Hello Students and Families -

My name is Kylee Dixon and I am thrilled to be the newest faculty member and 4th grade teacher here at Mount Loafer. I grew up in Mapleton Utah, and I just graduated from Utah State University (Go Aggies!) with a double degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and I love what I get to do everyday.

I love to read, sing, cook, and spend time with my friends, family and our tiny little Shih Tzu named Harley. I love Disney, I love going to the beach and I am a huge Taylor Swift fan (totally no shame).  I have a passion for traveling and love to get to experience new things, places and cultures. I fell in love with this profession when I had the amazing opportunity to serve abroad in Peru for two months where we taught English, math and reading comprehension to those cute kiddos who will always have such a special place in my heart.

Mostly though, I just really love to teach. There is something so special about watching that lightbulb turn on for students when they finally understand what is being taught and I love to get to be a little part of that success.

I am so excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds.

- Ms. Dixon
