Hey there Mt. Loafer Families!

Thanks so much for registering your children for school.  We appreciate your patience with our new program.  If you have not registered your child for school, please do so asap.  We are here to help if you need assistance!

We want to remind you that on Monday, if all goes well with this new program, you should be able to see who your child's teacher is.  You will need to go to Infinite Campus and check your child's schedule.  There it should say who your child's teacher is.  If you have not registered your child, there will not be a teacher listed.  If you think you have registered your child and there is not a teacher listed, please call the office, 801-423-2705.

If for some reason there is a glitch and the program is not ready, I will try to get an email out to you asap to let you know there is a problem.

Please mark your calendar for August 17th, for our Virtual Mt. Loafer Open House!  Teachers will be reaching out to you via email and infinite campus contact to make sure you have all the links and videos to welcome your children back to school. We know this is not our traditional formatt and although we are sad we won't get to see you in person we want to work hard to keep everyone as safe as possible. Allowing us to do a virtual open housw will hopefully allow this to happen.

School will begin the following Wednesday, August 19th, at 9:00am and will dismiss at 2:30.  Kindergarten will begin the following week, Wednesday, August 26th.

Please watch for more information later in the week regarding our opening plans and some basic essentials you will want to know for your children attending Mt. Loafer. In the meantime and as a clarification, I have had a lot of parents ask about the "No backpack" policy for our school.  In the communication sent it was unclear that no backpacks are encouraged, not mandated.  If your child needs a backpack, please send one.  If he/she does not, please leave it at home. We want to minimize students congregating in coat rooms before and after school and keep our bus lines as clear from excessive items as possible.

During such a crazy time we feel it important to say thanks for all your support!  We look forward to a great year and can't wait to see our kids back with us.
