Red Ribbon Week...Dream It, Believe It, Achieve It!

The goal of Red Ribbon Week is to provide an opportunity for students and teachers to talk about some of the dangers and risks that are involved with experimentation and prolonged use of drugs and alcohol. 

September 30-October 4 is Red Ribbon Week at Mt. Loafer.  Here are the activites planned for the week:

  • Monday, Sept. 30-Real Heroes are Drug Free!  Each student will be given a red wrist band.  Students will also draw a picture of his/her hero. 
  • Tuesday, Oct. 1-Reach for the Stars, not Drugs!  Classroom door decorating.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 2-Drug Free comes in "CANS!"  I Can go to college!  Students wear favorite college attire. 
  • Thursday, Oct. 3-Have Big Dreams!  Wear pajamas to school.
  • Friday, Oct. 4-Drugs Have no Place in my Future!  Dress as someone they dream of becoming or meeting in the future.
