Mt. Loafer's teachers know that students learn best "by doing" - especially in the sciences.
Club Day involved students from K-6th in hands-on activites and each science club was different; rocketry, chemistry, flight, genetics, geology, and many other disciplines of science. All the clubs were designed to capture children's natural curiosity, stimulate their interest in science and teach them important science topics along with critical thinking skills.
Children were given the chance to do science-related activities that extended and enhanced the science they experience in the classroom.
Each science club was different, as the clubs reflected the interests of the children. Students found that science really is fun!
