Earth Day Lessons!

Submitted by jodi.mckee on

Third grade students learned about taking care of our earth in a fun hands on way!  Expert visitors from McWane Ductile-Utah, taught students about the way plants help our environment. Students also learned about ways that they can conserve. Each student happily went home with a plant to remind them of the wonderful things they learned today!

Parents! Pasteries! Reading!

Reading can be delicious!  Mt. Loafer feels like the happiest place in the world when the halls are filled with parents and children reading together while enjoying scrumptious donuts.  Thank you to parents who come share the importance of reading with their child at school.  Thank you to the PTO who encourage every child to love to read as well as learn to read.

How long does it take to make kettle corn for the whole school? Just ask Mrs. Killian and Mr. Roberts who happily spent THE WHOLE DAY popping and making kettle corn for students with good citizenship!  Mt. Loafer was filled with smiling faces smelling the sweet aroma of kettle corn popping. The smiles increased as students enjoyed eating this delicious treat from the principal.  Mrs. Killian tells us she loves us....and we think she does!  We love her too!  Thank you Mrs. Killian and Mr. Roberts!
