Mr. Matt Jenkins, third grade teacher, was recognized by his colleagues as an outstanding educator who touches the lives of students, parents, and other teachers.

Mr. Jenkins is so much fun with a great sense of humor. He has a big personality and an even bigger heart. Some of his favorite things to do are reading, drawing, and  anything technology related. He always stays up on what is the latest and greatest.

He has been involved with education for a long time, but ever since his own students entered his classroom his life has been fulfilled. He comes home every day saying how much he loves his job.  He is so thankful for what he gets to do every day.  I'm sure the lives of those he interacts with on a regular basis know of his love and enthusiasm for the students he teaches. He is passionate about his teaching and loves integrating the arts and technology. Any extra minutes to spare, he is often helping others with technology and sharing his talents.  He speaks of his school as the best in Nebo.

Matt enjoys his fellow faculty members and shares his excitement for participating in various assemblies and activities with them. He is always looking for ways to improve his teaching craft and loves to collaborate with others.  He has the capacity for so much and is able to do many things with ease. He is invaluable to all who associate with him.  He loves people and how his job allows him to spend quality  time with his family. He is a wonderful person and exemplary teacher.  Congratulations Mr. Jenkins!
