With Hurricane Harvey being such a heartbreaking disaster, the students wanted to reach out and help other elementary aged students in Texas because many have lost all their school supplies and schools. We want to come together as a school community to help school children affect by Hurricane Harvey.  To do this we are going to designate Wednesday September 6th as "Helping Hands for Harvey Day"! We are going to ask that students bring $1 and dress as a "Texan" (western/cowboy attire) on this day. All the money we collect will be sent to Texas to help school children in need. Fourth Graders will come around Wednesday afternoon to collect the donations from each classroom.  We hope you will encourage your students to get involved! Our goal as a school is to raise $1,000! Thanks for being involved!
