To Infinity and Beyond

6th grade students in Mr. Applegate's and Miss Duvall’s classes have been exploring things out of this world. Stop number one was the moon. Students went on a tour of the moon with Astronaut Buzz Aldrin (the second human to step foot on the moon), looked at notable geographic features, and found out about several of the important missions to the moon.  Stop number two took the students to the stars. Each student had the opportunity to get a close of view of the stars and to gain an understanding about how stars were grouped into constellations. What could the next stop be for these scientists? The BYU Planetarium, of course! Students will get a tour of our solar system, the Milk Way galaxy, and the universe like no other.
