Parent Newsletter 4/8/19- 4/12/19
HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE SPRING BREAK! Here is the Parent Newsletter for the week following Spring Break.
*A big THANK YOUto our PTO and all you many parents who reached out to make our teachers feel special during Teacher Appreciation week. Karissa Winward and her PTO committee definitely helped our faculty to feel loved and supported as they ate, sipped and treated their way through the week. Mt. Loafer parents and students are the best!
Attendance is open to all elementary age students regardless of place of residence. Bright Ideas students should be highly motivated, interested in learning new things, cooperative and willing to learn at an accelerated rate. Children eligible for participation are those entering kindergarten through those entering seventh grade this fall.
Students in the program will:
Interact with other bright and motivated youth.
*A big THANK YOUfor your generosity with our SPRING FUNDRAISER! Mt. Loafer Parents are AMAZING and we are lucky to have your help in updating technology in our building and classrooms! We will be starting with updating our AV System in our Grizzly Den for all classes to use and then spread the rest of the love among grade levels and classes.
This upcoming Friday, March 22nd, the library will be kicking off its "Friday-after-school club". The purpose of this club is to allow the kids to have a fun interactive activity to do with their friends each and every Friday of the week. The activities will include things such as chemistry projects, book club activities, and more! For this Friday, they will be having a superhero themed party. The information for the party is as follows:

Final Box Tops Drive! Our awesome PTO will hold our final Box Tops Drive for the school year the week of March 13-15. They will be exchanging 10 box tops for popcorn and prizes at lunch so start collecting and let your kiddos SPEND them on goodies and prizes this week. A special Thanks to all our parents who help us raise funds through our Box Tops drives! This is a great way to help our school out in providing reading incentives and other small prizes all year long.
