Mt. Loafer students "adjusted their altitude" and spent the month of September working on trying new things.  These students were recognized by their teachers, received an award and a treat, and participated in the traditional Victory Lap around the school to celebrate. Way to go, Grizzlies!  We sure are proud of you. 

Heidi Whittaker, a consultant from Utah Parent Center, will be offering an informational meeting over Zoom about the IEP process on Oct 19, 2022 at 07:00 PM in Mountain Time (US and Canada).   Parents are important members of the IEP team. This workshop will help parents understand their roles, rights, and responsibilities in the IEP process.

Lifetouch will return on Tuesday, October 25th for picture retakes.  If you missed picture day, you can order pictures online on www.mylifetouch.com with our school ID EVTZH9SQM.  If you already had your pictures taken and are not satisfied,  please return your packet and Lifetouch will take your child's pictures again.  Thank you!

Come read a book and join us for a donut and milk on Wednesday, October 19th from 8:00-9:00 am.  Hope to see you there!

Our PTO will be sponsoring a Scholastic Book Fair from October 19-21.  It will be open before school from 8:00-9:30, during lunch from 11:00-12:30, and again after school from 3:00-4:00.  Come browse and maybe pick up a book or two for some fun fall reading!

Fall Break starts this week!  There will be no school on October 13, 14, and 17.  Have a safe and wonderful break!

The Salem City Library has lots of fun activities planned for the month of October!  Check out the calendar or call the library for more information.

Are you interested in volunteering at the school, but don't know where to start?  Come to the next Mt. Loafer PTO meeting!  Our awesome PTO is always looking for more parents to be involved in the great things happening at our school.
