State issues clarification on K-12 dismissal

 

SALT LAKE CITY (March 14, 2020) - At a news conference yesterday afternoon, Gov. Gary R. Herbert mentioned that during public school’s two-week dismissal, parents who are unable to be home with children will have the option to bring them to school to be supervised by teachers. This is not the case. 

 

Chesni Clawson-Daily Herald Student of the Week!

Congratulations to Chesni Clawson on being recognized as the Student of the Week in the Daily Herald.

Chesni is on the Mt. Loafer Elementary student council where she leads the school each day during the morning announcements. She welcomes and starts assemblies for the school and serves her peers daily. She is also active in her church and provides much service there.

4th Grade Hoedown

Parents and students of fourth grade, get ready to kick up your boots and come celebrate a night of country with your teachers! Thursday, March 12th is our Hoedown and we can't wait to see you here!
