Thank you for a great first week of school, we absolutely loved having our grizzlies in our building. There was so much excitement this week as they settled in to the routine of school. Our teachers are just as excited as our little Grizzlies to roll out the Red Carpet the first day of school, next Monday August 19th. Our first bell rings at 8:55am with our tardy bell ringing at 9:00am. Why Yoga is Beneficial for Kids:
Increased ability to concentrate.
Increased confidence and a more positive self-image.
Greater self-awareness.
Clarification of how to comprehend and respond to various emotions.
Congratulations and a HUGE Thank You to Jonah Forsey and all those who helped him complete his Eagle Scout Project at Mt. Loafer Elementary School this week.
Jonah chose to paint a map of the United States on the playground for the students and teachers to enjoy at Mt. Loafer. He spent many hours prepping, stenciling and painting this new addition.
As we begin a new school year we want to thank Jonah, his family and his friends for sharing much love with our school!
We're rolling out the red carpet for our Mt. Loafer Grizzlies! Please join us for our Open House/Back to School Night on Friday, August 16 from 2:00 – 4:00.
At this time, ALL k-6 students and parents will be able to: meet their teacher and see their classroom, sign all classroom/school forms, pay for school lunch, purchase t-shirts, and receive information about our awesome PTO.
