First Grade Puppet Shows

Parents at Mt. Loafer Elementary School were transported into a world of talking wolves, billy goats, pigs and giants through elaborately decorated puppets during the First Grade Puppet Show Spectacular.

The annual puppet shows, performed by Mrs. Bradley's, Mrs. Grover's, and Mrs. Olsen's first-grade class, portrayed classic fairytales like "Little Red Riding Hood," "The Gingerbread Man," "The Three Little Pigs," "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "The Three Billy Goats."

The first-grade students decorated their puppets, spoke their lines, and sang songs -- with some directing from their teachers.

The puppet show helps first grade students learn how to communicate clearly in oral, artistic, written and nonverbal form.  Thank you, first grade, for a wonderful visit into the world of fairytales!
