October 14th - 18th is National School Lunch Week. Mt. Loafer's lunch ladies have fun events planned for the week.
- Posters will be displayed in each lunch room
- " All American Meals" will be served during the week.
- Prizes will be awarded at random.
- A coloring contest will be a hit with the kids. 8 1/2 inch X 11 inch paper coloring sheets can be picked up in the lunch room. One entry per student. Students can take the sheet home color their favorite place in America and bring it back to the lunch room. Pictures will be hung in the lunch rooms and judged on Thursday and Friday Oct. 17th and Oct. 18th. Two bikes will be given away for the secondary schools and two bikes for the elementary schools. That's four bikes total for the entire district. Gift certificates will be awarded to runner-up winners. The top of the paper must be titled "MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE USA"
- Parents of all first graders are invited to come dine with their students. Please contact the lunchroom on the day you plan to attend, 801-423-3592.
