Register an Account (First Time using Beanstack)

  1. It is recommended you do your first-time set up accompanied with a parent/guardian.

  2. Go to salemcity.beanstack.com in a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)

  3. Click Register an Individual or Family. If you did our 2020 Summer Reading Program, you may already

have an account, please skip to the Sign In portion of the instructions. Otherwise continue to follow

    the on-screen instructions.

  4. Please note that you can add more than one reader (profile) to the same account. This makes things

easier to keep track of if you use only one account per family.

  5. Once set up is finished you will be taken to the Challenges landing page. You will automatically be

enrolled in the current reading challenge.
Sign In (Already Have a Beanstack Account)

    Log Your Reading

  1. At the top of the screen, a green button is where you will Log Reading and Activities. Click there.

    Beanstack App

You may also want you parent/guardian to download the Beanstack App for Android or Apple devices to

make it even easier to log your reading. Always get permission first before downloading the free app. After downloading, follow the steps above in a similar way to either Register or Sign In.

*Tip: The winter reading challenge started Decemeber 14th. So you can log your reading all the way back to this day. Just make sure to change the date when logging your minutes.
