Mr. Don Applegate, Madison Mantilla, Mr. Steve Haderlie | 216.47 KB |
Mt. Loafer Elementary Fifth and Sixth grade students were delighted to have a visit from Steven Haderlie, a chemistry teacher at Springville High School and an adjunct BYU professor. Mr. Haderlie is the grandfather of Madison Mantilla, a sixth grade student in Mr. Applegate's class. Mr. Haderlie’s love of chemistry inspired him to become a high school teacher. “There’s something magical about the world, and chemistry really explains everything,” he said. “My philosophy for teaching chemistry is, chemistry is fun!” Mt. Loafer students agree; chemistry is fascinating science! Thank you, Mr. Haderlie, for your visit to our school.
