The students and faculty at Mt. Loafer Elementary would like to thank Mr. George Brinkerhoff. Mr. Brinkerhoff was a special guest at the Ken Garff Assembly. He has written several children's books and donated a copy of his latest book, Plum, to the Mt. Loafer library. Some of the illustrations were done by children at Mount Loafer and some of the characters are people that he has worked with at the school.
Mr. Brinkerhoff is a retired social worker. He has been a school mentor and a bus driver. He is also the grandfather of Mt. Loafer students Ryan, Daniel, Derrick, Justin, and Joseph Brinkerhoff. Thank you, Mr. Brinkerhoff!
