100 DAY!

Friday marked a very special day at Mt. Loafer--100 DAY!  Students were encouraged to dress up as if they were 100 years old!  Many of the students celebrated the day participating in fun 100 day projects and activities!  We even had reporters from the Daily Herald come and write a story about our great school on this special day!

The MAGIC of READING!

Our students had a very special assembly on Friday, The MAGIC of READING! Magician,  Mike Hamilton, performed a magic show and promoted reading with his magic tricks.  The students loved his show and he even left a mark on the ceiling of  the auditorium for the students to remember his message—READING IS MAGIC!  We appreciate Mike and his fun talent!

It's Cool to be Kind!

We have the best students, here at Mt. Loafer!  We want them to know how much we appreciate the good things they do!  Our student council members are looking for students who are doing kind things for others.  When they see someone doing something nice, they give them a "Cool to Be Kind" card, and a little treat!  Thanks, students for all your good work, and remember, It's Cook to be Kind!

SNOW DAY!

Our students at Mt. Loafer were rewarded with a SNOW DAY for their great behavior!  Each term the students who have shown wonderful citizenship have the opportunity to participate in a special activity!  This term we went sledding then had doughnuts and hot chocolate!  We love our students and appreciate their good example!
