Walk for A Life- Veterans Memorial Walk

Nebo School District’s fifth-grade students had the opportunity to participate in the “Walk for Life” project designed by Spanish Fork City, the Spanish Fork/Salem Chamber, and American Legion. Over 1,200 students in 13 elementary schools were invited to the May 17 and 18 educational day. Students were educated at eight different stations where Veterans shared stories of their service.

Hope Of America

5th Grade students from Mt. Loafer Elementary participated in the Hope of America program on Tuesday, May 9th. They celebrated America's freedom through song and choreographed actions. Over 8,000 students from 90 different elementary schools in Utah participated.

Crystal Apple Award goes to.....Heidi Harris

Heidi Harris joined Mt. Loafer as a young intern ready to make a difference in the lives of her students and has held strong to that vision over the last few years. Heidi is the exact type of teacher you want your child to have in their life. She is positive, driven, and supportive of all of those around her. Heidi has gone above the call of duty by leading our student council, overseeing our technology in our building, and helping anywhere she is needed. Heidi is most definitely a team player and an all around asset to Mt.

Feel free to forward this to any family you know with a child who will be starting kindergarten in the next year or two. Thank you and have a wonderful summer!
