Sledding on the Hill- reserved for one day only!

Submitted by sarah.blackhurst on Mon, 12/02/2019 - 10:16

We would also like to ask you to remind our students that although it is fun, we do not slide on the hill during school hours. We reserve ONE day out of the year to sled at Mt. Loafer and other than that we ask students to stay off the hill as well as any snow mounds that may be plowed on our playground. This is for the safety of the students. Also remind them that we do not throw snow and ice at school. We have already had a few minor injuries from careless behaviors. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT in reminding the kids of our “snow rules!”

Dress for the warm weather, please!

Submitted by sarah.blackhurst on Mon, 12/02/2019 - 10:08

Please help your children dress appropriately for the weather. When it is 20 de-

grees or above, students are expected to go outside for recess. Please write your chil-

dren’s names in their coats and jackets—this really helps with lost clothing. You may also want to visit the lost and found bucket in the front entry way this week. All items left will be donated at the start of the Christmas Break. Thank you.
