Utah Schools Dismissed through May 1st

 Dear Parent/Guardian:

 Like you, we are just learning that Governor Gary R. Herbert, State Superintendent Syd Dickson, and the Utah State Board of Education “announced today that Utah’s K-12 public schools will extend their dismissal [soft closure] through Friday, May 1st.”  Their press release further stated that they will “continue to evaluate the situation to make a determination about the remaining school year” and that:

Hey Grizzlies! Ready for a fun challenge? Let's host our first At Home Learning School Spirit Week!

The challenge to you is this:

1. Participate & Prove it- email a picture to Miss Berns (taylor.berns [at] nebo.edu) on the day(s) you participated and what you were wearing or how you participated. 

2. Check our Instagram to see if your picture is featured with your peers. We may need to social distance but we can still social media! (@mtloafergrizzlies)

Chromebook Checkout Procedure 3/18/20

Hey Families! Our teachers are working hard getting ready to serve you and teach you online starting Wednesday! In response to your survey we know there is a need for some students to checkout a Chromebook to use while we are in dismissal and students are learning virtually alongside us. We realize you cannot begin your new learning management system and online learning without a device so WE ARE HERE TO HELP and we have devices for you to check out for your students. 

Grab & Go Lunch Update 3/15/20

Just a reminder for those who are interested in having school lunch, to please call the school between 8:00-9:00 to give us the number of lunches you will need for your students (801) 423-2705.  Also, we have the ability to serve students at a school that they don’t attend.  This means that if you have children in secondary schools, you will now be able to pick up meals for all your students at one school.
