Mt. Loafer students have worked diligently this year in working to achieve our monthly altitude award goals of trying new things, focusing on your goals, and asking for help. This month’s theme is learning from others and learning how to be an active listener.
Congratulations to our November Altitude Award winners! These awesome students looked for ways to help others and asked for help when they needed it. The Grizz led our winners in the Victory Lap this month! Click on the link below to view our awards assembly.

During the month of December, our goal is to learn from others by practicing active listening skills.
During the month of December, the Grinch has been visiting classrooms asking students to help his grow his heart by completing a random act of kindness. The classes can choose from a list of service opportunities or choose something else to help someone in our school. After the act of service is completed, they will pass the Grinch on to another class. Thank you for spreading some kindness and Christmas cheer, Grizzlies!
Congratulations to our October Altitude Award winners! These students worked hard to set and work toward their goals last month. Click on the link below to watch our awards assembly.

As the pandemic’s unseen costs begin to unfold on the mental health front, some wonder how school children will be impacted. Despite the massive challenge we face, there are growing resources to help families who are struggling.
Nebo School District is partnering with The Cook Center for Human Connection to host a free virtual Family Mental Health night on November 3, 2021 at 6:00 PM. Participants will hear from a leading clinical psychologist, be able to ask questions, and learn about free resources available. Register now using the link in the attached flyer.
We loved seeing all of your creative costumes this morning! Here's a little peek if you were unable to make it to the parade. Have a fun and safe Halloween, Grizzlies!
Don't miss our Halloween costume parade on Friday beginning at 9:15 am! We will parade OUTSIDE around the school this year. Parents and other family members are invited to watch from the grass, keeping the sidewalks clear for the students. See you there!
The Utah Parent Center and Nebo School District are partnering to offer a "10 Tips for Parents at IEP Meetings" workshop this month. If you are the parent of a student with an IEP or would just like more information, please see the attached flyer. It will be held LIVE via Zoom on October 21st from 7:00-8:30 pm.
